10 Days Marrakech to the Desert
Day 1: airport – hotel
Our driver guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 2: Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfall – Ben el Ouidane lake
Departure from your hotel in Marrakech towards Lake Ben El-Ouidane in the Middle Atlas, you will discover several villages and olive farms. we arrive at the Ouzoude waterfalls where macaques live. then we go down to the river and take the beautiful photos, you will have your lunch. Afternoon we drive towards the lake of Ben el Ouidane we pass by the village of Azilal. Dinner and night at the hotel in Ben el Ouidane.
Day 3: Ben el Ouidane – Imilchil
After your breakfast we leave towards Imilchil we pass by the high atlas and crossing several Berber villages. Arrive at Imilchil; where the annual collective wedding festival in Morocco takes place. dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Imilchil – Todra gorges – Tinghir
After your breakfast, we drive towards the Todra Gorges, we cross several Berber villages. Arrive at the Todra Gorges, where you will have a walk beside the river in the gorges. then we enter the city of Tinghir dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Tinghir – Erfoud – Merzouga
Morning departure after breakfast for a walk in the palm grove of the Todra Valley. Before taking the road to Erfoud passing through Tinejdad and several Berber villages to stop at the Fossil Marbles in Erfoud. After the continuation of our trip to the impressive dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. You will leave the vehicle (4×4) to join the (8×8) to continue your camel excursion to watch the sunset in the dunes. You will spend the night under the tents of nomads in the Sahara to enjoy the silence of the desert with a sky full of stars. Dinner and night in the bivouac.
Day 6: Merzouga – Alnif – Zagora
Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the dunes. Return to the hostel on camels for breakfast and a shower. We leave the dunes of Merzouga towards the palm grove of Tafilalet passing through villages; Rissani, Alnif, Tazarine and N’kob. Let’s continue our journey to Zagora crossing the Draa Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate
After breakfast we drive to Tansikhte and the Draa Valley. Following our journey by discovering the small villages and the beautiful kasbahs of the large palm grove of Agdz. Continue towards Ouarzazate crossing the Anti Atlas mountain crossing the TiziTinififft pass (1660m).
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
After your breakfast, departure to the village of Ait ben haddou (the kasbah of ait ben haddou is classified as a UNESCO heritage site). Follows the valley of onila to the kasbah of telouet. In the afternoon, continue to Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka pass, passing through several Berber villages until arriving in Marrakech. Night at the hotel.
Day 9: Marrakesh – Marrakesh
The visit of cant sites of Marrakech; the kotoubia gardens, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia palace and the djamaa el fna square.
Day 10: Marrakech – the airport
